breakfast visit the famed make-belief
world of Ramoji Film City. Enjoy

Closing Ceremony at RFC return

- NAGARJUNA SAGAR DAM - SRI SAILAM |

| After
an early breakfast check out
and transfer to Nagarjuna Sagar
Dam (150 Kms) - the world's
tallest masonry dam that irrigates
over 10 lakh acres of land.
The historic location takes
its name from the Buddhist saint
and scholar Acharya Nagarjuna
who is said to have set up a
centre of learning here. Also
visit Nagarjunakonda, where
the relics of an ancient Buddhist
Civilisation excavated from
the area submerged by the dam
have been stored and Ethipothala
Waterfalls (11 kms). Further
transfer to Sri Sailam, situated
on the Nallamalai Hills. It
is one of the centres of the
12 Jyotirlingams in the country.

| Day 05: SRI SAILAM

| Rise
and shine at early hours go
for darshan of The Brahmarambha
Mallikarjuna Swamy temple houses
one of India's twelve Jyotirlingas
(natural stone formations in
the shape of a linga). Built
in the 14 th century, After
Lunch check out and proceed
for Vijayawada (248 kms). On
arrival check into the hotel.

| Day 06: VIJAYAWADA

|
Today after breakfast visit
Prakasam Barrage - Built across
the river Krishna, the Barrage
has created a panoramic lake.
Its three canals that run through
the city give Vijayawada a Venetian
look; Undavalli Caves (8 kms)
- carved in 7th century A.D.,
Buddhist monks used this two-storeyed
cave structure as a rest house
during the monsoon. The huge
monolith of Lord Buddha in reclining
posture is a magnificent sight.
You can also visit the Kondapalli
Fort (16 kms) - A 7th century
fort on the hill with an impressive
three storeyed rock tower, it
was witness to the glory of
many dynasties. The village
is famous for toy making with
light-weight wood available
on the hill forest. These toys
are famous world-over as "Kondapalli
toys". You can also visit
the Victoria Museum - A place
for archaeology lovers, the
Museum has a carefully preserved
collection of ancient sculptures,
paintings, idols, weapons, cutlery
and inscriptions. All meals
& overnight in Vijayawada.

| Day 07: VIJAYAWADA
- OVERNIGHT JOURNEY - VISAKHAPATNAM |

Today visit Bhavani Island,
located on River Krishna and
perhaps the largest island on
a river. Journey to the island
by boat is very pleasant. You
can have lunch at the venue
or return to Vijayawada for
lunch and check out from the
hotel. You can now visit Mangalagiri
Temple (12 kms) on a hillock.
The unique feature of this temple
is that the mouth of the idol
accepts half the quantity of
Panakam (jaggery dissolved in
water) offered by devotees,
irrespective of the size of
the vessel and Gandhi Hill,
where the first Gandhi Memorial
with seven stupas in the country
was constructed on this hill
at a height of 500 ft. The 52
ft. stupa was unveiled on 6th
October, 1968 by Dr. Zakir Hussain,
the then President of India.
Gandhi Memorial Library, a Sound
and Light Show on Mahatma Gandhi's
life and a planetarium are the
other attractions. Tonight after
dinner we transfer to the Rly.
Stn. to board the 2728-Godavari
Exp. for Vishakapatnam. The
scheduled departure is at 2320
hrs. Overnight rail journey. |

| Arrive in Vishakapatnam
- The City of Destiny at 0605
hrs. Transfer and check into the
hotel. After breakfast visit Simhachalam
Temple and Kailasagiri Park. After
lunch you can visit Ramakrishna
Beach, the Victory at Sea Monument,
Dolphin's Nose, Vuda Park. Dinner
& overnight stay in Vishakapatnam. |

| Day 09: VISAKHAPATNAM
- ARAKU |

| Today after breakfast
you drive through Bhemunipatnam,
the 25 Kms stretch of road literally
hugging the coastline from Visakhapatnam
is simply breathtaking. Bheemili,
a sleepy little town en route,
is the second oldest municipality
in the country. The colonial past
of the town is evident in the
remains of a once thriving Dutch
Settlement. The important landmarks
of Bheemili includes pilgrimage
centers, temples, old churches,
clock tower, light house, port
and more and also visit MCV Museum
and Vizag Ross Hill [if time permits].
After lunch check out and transfer
to Araku Valley (112 kms), a pleasant
hill station famous for its scenic
gardens, lush green nature, valleys,
waterfalls and streams. On arrival
check into the hotel. Dinner &
overnight stay in Araku. |

| Today after breakfast
visit the Bora Caves, spectacular,
million-year-old stalactite and
stalagmite formations, standing
as a testimonial to its pristine
glory and age woven into intricate
design through the centuries.
The Tribal Museum in Araku Valley
is a big attraction, while the
Botanical Garden at Padmapuram
and the Government Silk Farm with
Mulberry gardens are live examples
of the socio-economic conditions
